NOLLYWOOD NOVEMBER
Nollywood November rhymed well together, so we thought... why not make a list of our five favorite Nollywood movies?...but before we do that, let's dive deep into the subject matter.

The first Nollywood movie ever made was "Living in Bondage" directed by Chris Obi Rapu and released in 1992. The movie kickstarted the Nollywood industry we know today.
Regardless of how iconic or cringe, one can classify them, Nollywood movies inarguably own an important place in African cinema. They are a cultural phenomenon in Nigeria and in the rest of the continent and the diaspora as well.
Nearly every African especially from west Africa has watched a Nollywood movie. Whether in their childhood, teenage phase, or Adult life.
We all had those CDs in our houses, and we all somehow watched these movies at our friend's or neighbor's place. We certainly all couldn't sleep after watching that one frightening horror Nollywood film or laugh out loud at a funny Nollywood scene. It goes to show how we have all from generation to generation enjoyed a piece of Nigeria's greatest cinematic export.
From scary witchcraft tales to overly dramatic love and family stories. Nollywood remains the epitome of a flourishing African cinematic industry.
